At Northern, more than 90 percent of students receive some form of financial aid, totaling more than $18.5 million annually. NSU offers several types of financial aid, including scholarships, grants, loans and work-study. Most aid is awarded on the basis of need.

To receive maximum consideration for financial aid, you should apply no later than March 1 of the year you wish to enroll.
