FAQs

Dress Code

The dress code for the conference is business casual. The keynote dinner Thursday evening is business formal. Please dress appropriately.

 
Presentation Room Equipment

The presentation room will be equipped with audio/visual materials including screen, laptop and LCD projector. Please bring copies of your paper if you wish to distribute them among conference participants.

 

Session Timing

Each author will have approximately 30 minutes for his/her presentation.  Five or 10 of the 30 minutes should be reserved for questions.

 

Airfare

Please check with your travel agent or the Rapid City Convention and Visitors Bureau for more detailed flight information. Major cities such as Denver and Minneapolis offer direct service to Rapid City.

 

Immigration/Visa Information

In general, to visit the United States, you may need to obtain a nonimmigrant visa from an American Embassy or American Consulate in your country. Please note that some countries are exempt from this requirement.


Late Submissions

Late submissions of abstracts and/or final papers may be accepted, but will be subject to peer review council. Please contact the conference coordinator in advance if you anticipate a late submission.

 

Abstract-only Publications

Authors can choose to have only their abstract published in the conference proceedings; if this is your preference, please inform the conference coordinator.


Weather

The weather in Rapid City is very unpredictable. Expect sun, rain, or snow in September. Please plan accordingly!
