High School Dual Credit

The South Dakota High School Dual Credit Program (HSDC) allows South Dakota high school juniors and seniors to take college-level classes and receive both college and high school credit. All HSDC courses are designed to fulfill both high school and college requirements.

Northern State University offers several general education classes that qualify for High School Dual Credit. Qualified students can take HSDC courses on NSU's main campus in Aberdeen; at the Huron Community Campus; or online.

The schedule of available dual credit classes, application and additional details can be found at SDMyLife/Dual Credit. To view the class schedule on the site, click on the red DOE Dual Credit Dashboard button.
