What is Welcome Week?
Welcome Week helps you make the transition to college life. During this multi-day experience, you'll become acclimated to living in a residence hall, meet new friends and connect with Northern and its programs and services. Welcome Week is your opportunity to ask questions and explore everything Northern has to offer.
Can family attend Welcome Week?
Family members are welcome to help you move into the residence halls, hear the president's welcome and learn more Northern's support services on move-in day. Events after move-in day are designed exclusively for NSU's new students.
Where and when can I purchase textbooks & supplies?
The Wolf Shoppe, on the lower level of the Student Center, is open during Welcome Week.Once checked in and settled in the residence halls, you should have time before the first WW session to visit the bookstore to purchase books and supplies. The bookstore will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and special hours from 9 a.m. 1 p.m. Saturday. When you visit the bookstore, don't forget to bring your class schedule.
