The purpose of the WIS Conference is to encourage girls and young women to consider STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) careers through personal interaction with professional women in those fields.
Schedule:
• 8:30-9:15 a.m. Registration
• 9:15-9:30 a.m. Welcome and introduction
• 9:30-9:40 a.m. Report to first session
• 9:40-11:30 a.m. Small group sessions (Four 20-minute sessions with 10- minute breaks between sessions)
• 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m. Lunch
• 1:00-2:15 p.m. Keynote presentation
• 2:15-2:30 p.m. Post survey/awards
