The 48th annual South Dakota Jazz Festival Concert will be held on Thursday, Jan. 18, featuring guest performers “The Hornheads.”
“The Hornheads” of Minneapolis, Minn., will serve as guest performers at the festival, which will culminate in an evening performance at 7:30 p.m. in the NSU JFAC Harvey and Cynthia Jewett Theater.
The fourth annual Lamont-Rhodes Lecture Series presents Eric Snodgrass, director of atmospheric sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, 7:30-10 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, in the NSU Johnson Fine Arts Center. The first Aberdeen University-Civic Symphony concert of the year, "American Visions," will be Feb. 17 at 7:30 p.m. in the Johnson Fine Arts Center.
On Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017, the Northern State University Admissions Office will be hosting a Howling Trivia Night for high school juniors and seniors in the area. The event will be from 7-9 p.m. in the Student Center on the Northern campus.
