ABERDEEN, S.D. – Neuroscientist Dr. Jill Weimer will make a public presentation and meet with students Friday, Oct. 25, at Northern State University.
Weimer, a research scientist from the Sanford Children's Health Research Center in Sioux Falls, will present "Navigating the Developing Cerebral Cortex," from 11-11:50 a.m. in Mewaldt-Jensen Room 204 on the NSU campus.
After the seminar, Weimer will meet with NSU students majoring in biology and chemistry to discuss potential summer internships, career pathways in science and graduate programs.
The seminar is free and open to all NSU students and community members, and is hosted by the NSU biology and chemistry departments.
