ABERDEEN, S.D. – Quinn Determan’s senior art exhibition will be on display in the Northern State University Student Center Gallery from April 10 until April 21.

A reception for the exhibition will take place from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 19 in the Student Center Gallery.

Determan grew up in Mitchell, graduating from Mitchell High School in 2013. She is the daughter of Ross and Dr. Amber Determan of Mitchell.

Displayed artwork in the exhibition includes photographical and printmaking materials.

Determan is a fine arts major, with a history minor. During her time at Northern, she has worked under art faculty members Greg Blair, Nadya Preszler and Peter Kilian.

Determan will graduate from Northern in May. After graduation, she aspires to curate art shows at galleries and museums.

“I attended several art workshops at Northern during high school and really enjoyed them. When I toured, I was familiar with campus and the professors. I also like the small class sizes and individualism of a small campus,” mentioned Determan about her choice to attend Northern.
