ABERDEEN, S.D. – Several Northern State University graphic design majors will showcase their work in a collaborative art exhibition entitled “Gestalt,” opening on March 27 in the NSU President’s Gallery.

Graphic design students involved include Rebecca Hunt of Pierre; Carrie Wegleitner of Lake City; Jen Rappe of Ipswich; Levi Seefeldt of Clark; Emily Tillma of Milbank and Alexis Doerr of Aberdeen.

An opening reception for the exhibition will occur from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, March 27 in the President’s Gallery. The exhibition itself will be displayed for two weeks, following the opening reception.

Featured creations involve various forms of graphic design, including digital illustrations, videography and beyond.

The term “gestalt” is defined as an organized whole that is perceived as more than the sum of its parts.
