ABERDEEN, S.D. – Jarrod Holmgren’s senior art exhibition will be on display in the Northern State University Isaac Lincoln Gallery Dec. 3-14.

A reception for the exhibition will be held from 7-9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, in the Isaac Lincoln Gallery.

Holmgren grew up in Clara City, Minn., graduating from Maccray High School in 2011. He is the son of Cary and Becky Holmgren of Clara City, Minn.

Displayed art in the exhibition includes photography and digital imaging.

Holmgren is a graphic design major. During his time at Northern, he has worked under art faculty members Greg Blair, Sara Christensen Blair, Keum-Taek Jung and Nadya Preszler.

Holmgren will graduate from Northern in December. After graduation, he plans to pursue a career in wildlife and sports photography.

“I chose Northern because of its great atmosphere on campus and small class sizes allowing you to have more one-on-one time with professors,” said Holmgren about his choice to attend NSU.
