ABERDEEN, S.D. (Aug. 4, 2017) – Northern State University’s Master of Music Education degree has received final accreditation approval from the National Association of Schools of Music.
“This is the result of years of effective planning and implementation by dedicated faculty and administration,” said NSU School of Fine Arts Dean Dr. Kenneth Boulton.
NSU established its master’s degree in music education in fall 2012, and enrollment has increased steadily since. The program is designed to meet the needs and demands of busy music education professionals—it has an online curriculum, minimal residency (one week each summer) and can be completed in two years.
