ABERDEEN, S.D. – A paper co-authored by Northern State University School of Education Dean Dr. Tim Mantz has been accepted for publication in the International Journal of Business Strategy™ (IJBS).
The paper is titled “Brand Recall Within Advergames and the Effect of the Hand Held Controller on Flow State in India.” The research, which is part of a larger study involving several countries, demonstrates the higher value of advertising within Xbox games.
Mantz co-authored the paper with Kiran Muthabatulla of Microsoft, one of the inventors of the Kinect, and Kathy Mantz of Trevecca University. They will now present at the IABE-2017 Las Vegas Conference, Dec. 17-19.
Mantz, who began at NSU in June 2017, was formerly dean of the Graduate College of Business and associate dean of the Graduate School at Keiser University, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. He also has more than 20 years of experience on Madison Avenue creating award-winning advertising for Fortune 250 companies, and extensive volunteer work with national programs to improve at-risk student retention and performance.
The IJBS is a refereed publication of the Academy of International Business and Economics. For more information, visit the IABE website.
