To move Northern Lights into the 21st Century, the publication has gone all-digital with this Website. This allows Northern Lights to publish visual and print submissions from the students, faculty, and staff of NSU. We hope this will promote creative endeavors and higher thought on Northern's campus by giving exposure to these works.
In 1947, the school published the first edition of Northern Lights, a collection of poems and short stories written by Northern students. Xi Gamma, the local Chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, sponsored this first edition. The editors dedicated the publication to the returning World War II veterans.
