NSU Community Forum Jan. 11

Northern State University will hold a second community forum to discuss the university’s campus master plan 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018, at the South Dakota School for the Blind and Visually Impaired. The forum is open to the public. Community members are encouraged to submit questions beforehand on NSU’s Campus Master Plan webpage, which includes the most up-to-date information on NSU building projects.

 

‘I Hear America Singing’ set for Jan. 11

Dr. Marla Fogderud, soprano, and Dr. William Wieland, piano, will present a lecture recital on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018, at 7:30 p.m. in Krikac Auditorium. The program, “I Hear America Singing: Songs from Throughout American History,” includes American solo song literature from the Revolutionary War era to the present. The performance is free and open to the public.

 

Primrose Arts and Lecture Series: ‘Music for Piano Four-Hands’

The next NSU Primrose Arts and Lecture Series, “Music for Piano Four-Hands” with Dr. Kenneth Boulton and Ms. JoAnne Barry, will take place 2:30-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held at Aberdeen’s Primrose Retirement Community, 1701 Third Ave. S.E. Aberdeen University-Civic Symphony concert: ‘American Visions’

The first Aberdeen University-Civic Symphony concert of the year, “American Visions,” will be Feb. 17 at 7:30 p.m. in the Johnson Fine Arts Center. Get tickets here: “American Visions.”
