Elementary, Secondary and Special Education
The NSU School of Education actively promotes and encourages you to seek out internship opportunities. The Office of Field Services coordinates all practicums and student teaching experiences.
Real-world student teaching practicums and experiences are integrated throughout each teacher preparation program, beginning in the sophomore year. In this program, you'll be placed in preschools and K-12 districts to gain valuable educational experience from highly qualified classroom teachers.
Field experience requirements, placement options, and length vary by program, so it's important to consult with your advisor or the Field Services Office to guide your decisions. Advising sheets for each level are located on the
Current Students page.
