The Math Center is a tutoring service that pairs successful, motivated upperclassmen with students who need help with math.
What We Do
We provide free math help to all Northern students. Our goal is to help students improve their knowledge and skill in math and to develop a mathematics work ethic.
Student Tutors
Math Center tutors are chosen because they've been successful in math; have teaching experience and ability; have been recommended by faculty; and are trained to tutor.
How to Utilize Our Services
Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are preferred. Each appointment lasts a maximum of 1 hour. Appointments may be scheduled several weeks in advance.
