Message from the Dean of Students: Mask Up Off Campus Too!

Image of downtown Aberdeen with text: Mask up off campus too

From the Office of NSU Dean of Students Sean Blackburn

Dear Students,

The first weekend of the academic year is here. The best precaution you can take this weekend to stay healthy and to protect our community is to wear your mask even when you’re off campus. COVID-19 spreads mainly among people who are in close contact in places like bars, restaurants, stores and in public places. We know you want to enjoy Aberdeen and time with friends – just do so safely by wearing your mask when indoors and in close contact.

Our ability to provide on-campus classes depends upon everyone’s cooperation with good public health practices like wearing your mask on and off campus. Let’s slow the spread and keep Northern State University open.

Represent the Pack – Mask Up Off Campus Too!
