Originally employed in the Student Success Center, Erica Bobby has been with Northern State University since 2018. In 2021, she moved to a full-time faculty position in the College of Arts in Sciences. Her study in rhetoric has provided her the opportunity to teach both composition and communication classes at the collegiate level since 2002. As an instructor teaching developmental and foundational level courses, Bobby’s primary goal is to equip students with the academic writing and communication skills needed to be successful within the academe and their future vocations. Having a background as an editorial columnist and college debater, Bobby also serves as the faculty co-advisor for The Exponent, NSU’s student-run newspaper..
