Research in Curriculum
The Honors Program provides academically talented and highly motivated students opportunities to excel in the classroom, as campus leaders in recognized student organizations, and in undergraduate research.
Northern's participation in the Howard Hughes Medical Institute’s Science Education Alliance’s Phage Hunters Advancing Genomics and Evolutionary Science (SEA-PHAGES) program gives students a chance to make a national impact.
Northern offers a variety of unique opportunities for students and community members to study and learn outside the U.S., led by experienced faculty and including the option to enroll in credit-bearing courses.
