Science teachers are in high demand in South Dakota and the surrounding region. Programs in biology education and chemistry education will prepare you to teach a variety of subjects in the sciences. In addition to rigorous science content, education courses and student teaching will prepare you for your own classrooms. Our STEM outreach program provides hands-on experience developing and presenting lessons for elementary-age students, which will help you develop confidence in your teaching skills.
