NSU Facilities Manager Monte Mehlhoff has issued a campus construction update.

Barnett Center
Hoops and hardware are set to be installed by Sept. 13. Daktronics plans to install center hung equipment Sept. 26-Oct. 2.
Aug. 30 – Sanding, painting, logos, finishes – start as soon as floor is available. Expecting completion by Sept. 11 – cure a minimum of three days.
Aug. 30 – Daktronics equipment and structure arrives. Renovate east scoreboard and sideline scorer’s table.
Sept. 3 – Finish install of basketball flooring (currently about 90 percent complete); finish by noon. Start sanding at 10 a.m. – two full days.
Sept. 5 and 6 – Cut out floor boxes, pull cables, connections for Daktronics
Sept. 7 – 13 – Stain and paint flooring, add transitions
Sept. 13 – Daktronics trains NSU’s crew on use of video board and score tables – center hung later
Sept. 16 – NSU volleyball first practice  
Sept. 26 at 5 p.m. – Daktronics install Center Hung; complete by Oct. 2 at 2 p.m.

A new transformer will be installed by Muth Electric.
