NSU Facilities Manager Monte Mehlhoff has issued a campus construction update.

Herret Street Parking Lot
Work on the lot will resume once the city has finished street work. Though construction is likely to continue for at least another month, the lot is nearing completion and will be available to both red and green parking permit holders.

Barnett Center
Pool HVAC upgrade is complete, with final punch list to be completed Tuesday. The pool should reopen by middle of next week.

Remodeling of former racquetball courts into eight new offices and a conference room should be complete by December.

The wood floor is complete and new hoops are installed. The track will be resurfaced in May 2020.

Sept. 26 at 5 p.m. – Daktronics install center hung; complete by Oct. 2 at 2p.m.

Science Center
This past Tuesday we did a final walk through of punch list items on the Science Center and all items will be completed shortly. Dirt work has begun for the seeded grass area to the south of the building.

Fire Alarm Replacement
Bids for Heating Plant and Barnett Center fire alarm replacement will be accepted in November, with work to begin shortly after.

JFAC
The Johnson Fine Arts Center's older roof sections will be replaced in spring/summer 2020.

Campus Power
A new transformer will be installed by Muth Electric.
