Regional Science Education Center

The steel crew has erected Stair No. 2 and continues with north and south wing detailing.

The concrete crew is preparing for floor placements, and plumbers and electricians continue with rough-ins for floor placements. Plumbers are installing roof drains and associated piping. Wall framing and exterior wall sheathing at the south wing is under way. Interior wall framing continues in the south wing. The carpenter crew is installing wood blocking at the south wing roof parapet.

Barnett Center

It was a tough weather week for Barnett Center roof replacement, so work focused on metal capping. Eighty percent of the rock has been removed from the upper area. New air handling units are scheduled to arrive in November.

Herret Street Parking Lot

Bids were due Sept. 19 for a parking lot on the corner of South Herret Street and 15th Avenue S.E. that will hold about 150 cars.
