Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, some college students are facing a cut in part-time work while still needing to pay bills. For students facing this, legal assistance is available.

East River Legal Services, the Legal Aid in Sioux Falls, helps low-income individuals with civil legal matters in eastern South Dakota. The firm can be a resource to students seeking legal help for civil matters such as protection orders, evictions and many others.
