International Programs Office seeking ‘Friendship Families’

The International Programs Office is looking for families to participate in the Friendship Family Program. The program involves spending time with international student(s) at least once a month while they are studying here at Northern. Families are expected to invite students to participate in events or activities the family already does, such as watching a movie at home or at the theater, going to sporting and/or artistic events, and cooking at home. The International Programs Office will match families and students based on mutual interests. For more information or to apply, email Heidi Hepola at heidi.hepola@northern.edu or call 605-626-7802.
