Northern State University creates, receives, manages, and disseminates data in order to conduct daily operations and achieve strategic goals. It is critical that this information is secure, accessible, and reliable. The Data Governance Oversight Committee is tasked with assisting and directing campus efforts to that end. Committee members come from offices across the entire campus so that their varied perspectives can contribute to the group’s work. As the committee works to align Northern policies with those of the South Dakota Board of Regents, additional guidance will be forthcoming.
