Need a proctor for a test?

Northern's Testing Center can proctor (supervise) your exam whether you're taking a class from a South Dakota Board of Regents (BOR) school or another institution.

What to Bring

  • Photo ID
  • Proctoring fee, if applicable
  • Login credentials to the learning management system for your class (D2L, Blackboard, Moodle, etc.), if applicable
  • Any resources allowed by your instructor during the exam

You must leave all personal items - including but not limited to backpacks, purses, mobile phones, laptops and smart watches - with the proctor before you begin your exam.

Need a proctor for a NSU class?

If you're taking a class from Northern and need a proctor near you (outside of Aberdeen), consider using testing services offered by one of the below institutions:

Black Hills State University: Testing Services

Dakota State University: Testing Services

South Dakota State University: Testing Center

South Dakota School of Mines & Technology: Exams and Testing

University of South Dakota: Testing Center

University Center - Sioux Falls: Proctor Services

You may also need to complete the NSU Proctoring Form to have your proctor approved; check with your class instructor.
