Officer Eric Paul was named Campus Police Officer in May of 2023. He has served 16 years in law enforcement and is currently a patrol officer with Aberdeen Police Department. Officer Paul joined APD in 2009 after attending the South Dakota Police Academy in Pierre, SD. He is from Okoboji City, found along the eastern shore of West Okoboji Lake in the Iowa Great Lakes region. He is completing his Bachelors in Science degree in Rangeland Ecology & Management from South Dakota State University.
