You must be a full-time (12 credits or more) degree-seeking student.
The scholarship is available for your first bachelor's degree only.
The scholarship is available for up to eight consecutive fall and spring semesters. If you sit out for one or more terms, you will receive the scholarship when you re-enroll, as long as it is within this timeframe. (For example, 2022-23 first-year recipients can receive awards from Fall 2022 through Spring 2026, or receipt of a bachelor's degree, whichever comes first.)
You must maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average. If your cumulative GPA drops below this level, the award is suspended until such time as your GPA is raised to at least 3.0 at which point you must submit a request for the scholarship to be reinstated. If the eight-semester time frame has not elapsed, your scholarship will be reinstated for the remaining period of eligibility.
The scholarship is canceled if you transfer to another institution.
All appeals to these policies will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
