Most professional schools (dentistry, optometry, etc.) accept students with degrees in a variety of fields of study; however, the strong science and math background NSU programs offer increases the likelihood of acceptance into the professional school of your choice. NSU alumni have said they felt better-prepared than many of their professsional school colleagues.  Faculty members in biology and chemistry teach their own labs, and upper-level class enrollments are limited to 20-24 students - you'll have the chance to get to know your professors well.
