Music Scholarship Auditions:
February 19-20, 2027
Scholarships are awarded to music and non-music majors on the basis of audition. To apply, incoming freshmen and transfer students must complete the NSU Fine Arts Scholarship Application.
Auditioning on Campus
Auditions will be held February 19–20, 2027. After submitting your application you will be notified of your audition time approximately three weeks before the audition date.
If you have a scheduled campus visit, you may audition that same day — just let the Admissions Office know so they can build it into your visit schedule.
Submitting a Recorded Audition
Can't make it to campus? You can submit a recorded audition. Video recordings are preferred over audio-only.
Email your recording to darci.bultema@northern.edu using one of these formats:
- YouTube — upload as an unlisted video and include the link in your email
- Audio/Video File — attach directly to your email
