Primrose Gypsy Day 2022 float

ABERDEEN, S.D. Float winners from the Northern State University 2022 Gypsy Day Parade have been announced.

 

The winners are:

 

  • Best Overall Float (best group participation and overall theme representation): Primrose

 

  • Second Best Overall: Blank Canvas Salon

 

  • Third Best Overall: Aberdeen Swim Club

 

  • Northern Spirit Award (best Northern internal group participation): NSU Honors Program

 

  • Thunder’s Award (best animal entry): Dirksen Organic Beef

 

The parade took place Saturday, Oct. 8, on Aberdeen’s Main Street. Parade entrants decorated their float based on this year’s theme, “Wolves on Broadway.”

 

Band Results Announced

 

Marching band results were also announced from Saturday’s parade. Aberdeen Central High School was chosen as Best Overall Band. Other awards are as follows:
