  • NSU School of Fine Arts Welcomes the 2025-26 Season

    ABERDEEN, S.D. – The Northern State University School of Fine Arts will hold its annual “Music Faculty Showcase Recital” and “Welcome Back Student Art Show” on Thursday, Sept. 11.

    The “Welcome Back Student Art Show” will have an opening reception beginning at 6 p.m. in the JFAC Gallery X.   • Northern State University Professor Presents Research at National Accounting Conference

    ABERDEEN, S.D. – Dr. Eman Momeni, assistant professor of accounting at Northern State University, was recently invited to present at the 2025 Fraud and Forensic Accounting Conference, hosted by the Louisiana State University Department of Accounting.

  • Northern State University Student Featured in South Dakota Magazine

    ABERDEEN, S.D. – Northern State University student Maggie Kruger was recently featured in the July/August edition of South Dakota Magazine for her involvement in NSU’s film program and athletics.

  • NSU Professor’s Research on Market Efficiency Published in International Finance Journal

    ABERDEEN, S.D. – Dr. Eman Momeni, assistant professor of accounting at Northern State University, recently had his work published in the Afro-Asian Journal of Finance & Accounting.

    His article, “The impact of an emerging market’s microstructure legislations on market efficiency: evidence from Iran,” looks at how new trading rules on the Tehran Stock Exchange influenced both pricing efficiency and investor behavior.   • Northern State University to Unveil Renovated Gerber Hall

    ABERDEEN, S.D. — Northern State University's Millicent Atkins School of Education will celebrate the completion of major renovations to the historic H.P. Gerber Building with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house Friday, Sept. 19.

  • Northern Professor’s Research to Be Published in Finance Journal

    ABERDEEN, S.D. – A new article by Dr. Keun Lee, professor of economics at Northern State University, has been accepted for publication in the International Journal of Finance and Banking Studies.
