ABERDEEN, S.D. – The Northern State University Department of Music has announced the recipients of scholarships from the Loren E. Lomis Music Scholarship fund for the 2024-25 academic year: Emma Arp from Custer, Carmen Huber from Aberdeen, and Isaac Johnson from Brandon. Established in accordance with the Last Will and Testament of Loren E. Lomis, these scholarships support students who demonstrate exceptional promise and commitment to the fine arts in music.
