Alumnus speaking to room of students

ABERDEEN, S.D. – The Northern State University School of Business and the NSU Phi Beta Lambda/Business Club are sponsoring a series of seminars this fall on the Northern campus.

Each session of “Investing in Yourself Student Seminars” takes place in the NSU Johnson Fine Arts Center Room 117. The series kicked off earlier this week with Northern alum Gene Lorenz presenting “Building Your Financial Capital – Investing in Your Future.”

The remaining sessions—all of which are free and open to the public—are as follows:

On Nov. 12, Aberdeen Mayor Travis Schaunaman will present “Showcasing Your Business – Building a Website,” at 7 p.m.

At 7 p.m. Nov. 18, Kelly Weaver of the South Dakota Small Business Development Center will present “Tracking Your Business – QuickBooks.”

On Nov. 25, NSU Career Services Director Britt Lorenz presents “Building Your Network – Lessons on Networking,” also at 7 p.m.
