ABERDEEN, S.D. – In honor of Black History Month, a screening and discussion of Ava DuVernay’s documentary “13th” will be held on the Northern State University campus.

The event will begin at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, in the Johnson Fine Arts Center Red Room (JC117).

DuVernay’s film explores the history of racial inequality in the United States. The event, which is co-sponsored by NSU Jump Start and the NSU Honors Program, is free and open to the public.
