Student talking with employer at job fair

ABERDEEN, S.D. – The Spring 2022 Aberdeen Area and Northern State University Job Fair will take place 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, in Northern’s Avera Student Center.

The event, which is open to the public, is sponsored by NSU Career Services, Hub City Radio, Aberdeen Area Department of Labor/Job Service and the Aberdeen Area Chamber of Commerce.

NSU students will have the opportunity to not only find employment, but also meet with potential graduate and professional schools, and academic advisors to discuss majors and minors that will help students succeed in their future career.

“I hope that students will see the holistic picture of connecting academics to career outcomes,” said NSU Career Services Coordinator Maggie Pence.

So far, over 20 organizations and graduate programs have registered for the job fair, representing retail, manufacturing, the sciences, and more. Interested employers and graduate schools can register for the fair with this link.
