CV

 

Tanya Brown earned her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Wyoming. She holds a MA in Professional counseling from Liberty University (Virginia) and graduated magna cum laude from PACE University (New York City) with a BS in Psychology. Tanya has over 15 years of experience working in the Mental Health field, working in multiple settings (group homes, intensive in homes and k-12 school systems). She also has over 10 years of experience as a supervisor for community-based Mental Health Agencies, during which time she supervised various treatment modalities. Throughout her career, she has worked with children, adolescents and adults that have experienced acute, chronic, and complex trauma. She currently holds a provisional license in the state of Wyoming. During her doctoral studies, she co-taught at University of Wyoming and Wake Forest University and also supervised practicum and internship students.
