Amanda Black serves as the Program Assistant for the College of Arts and Sciences, where she provides administrative support to faculty, staff, and students. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English with an emphasis in Writing, along with minors in Communication and Political Science from Northern State University. Amanda has over a decade of experience in program management, nonprofit leadership, event coordination and communications. She is committed to creating an organized, welcoming environment that supports student success and the mission of the College of Arts and Sciences.
A lifelong South Dakotan, Amanda lives in Aberdeen with her husband, and their two daughters. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors, creating crafts and volunteering in the community.
