As an NSU music education major, you can learn to teach music to K-12 students, perform and create music, and develop students’ understanding and appreciation of the art of music. We have two emphasis (Instrumental and Vocal): The instrumental emphasis is for you if you’d like to teach K-12 instrumental music and supervise school music programs. The vocal emphasis prepares you to teach K-12 vocal and general music and supervise school music programs.
