American Indian Circle Program

Programs under the American Indian Circle Program support spiritual practices, especially for Native students. The program acknowledges sacred ceremonies and traditions like smudging and the use of sacred plants such as sage, cedar, sweet grass, and tobacco. Students can also submit a Ceremonial Use Exemption Form to practice these traditions in residence halls.

The program encourages student-centered planning and cultural and navigational experiences that will help students cultivate a deeper cultural footprint while at NSU.
