ABERDEEN, S.D. – Kate Dilts’ senior art exhibition will be on display in the Northern State University President’s Gallery in Spafford Hall from April 23 to May 5.

A reception for the exhibition will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 23 in the President’s Gallery.

Dilts grew up in Underwood, Iowa, graduating from Underwood High School in 2013. She is the daughter of Don and Lorrie Dilts of Underwood, Iowa.

Displayed work in the exhibition includes graphic design pieces, as well as digitally altered film and digital photography, mounted and displayed in resin.

Dilts is a graphic design major and marketing minor. During her time at Northern, she has worked under art faculty members Sara Christensen Blair, Greg Blair, Nadya Preszler and Keum-Taek Jung.

Dilts will graduate from Northern in May. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a graphic design position, do freelance work and pursue a career in coaching softball in Omaha, Neb.
