ABERDEEN, S.D. - Northern State University Symphonic Band and Concert Band will present "Music with a Message" at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 14, in the Johnson Fine Arts Center Jewett Theater.

The concert will feature performances by the Symphonic Band and Concert Band. The Symphonic Band, directed by Dr. Audrey Miller, will perform works by Kimberly Archer, Catherine Likhuta, Robert W. Smith and feature a composition by NSU sophomore Connor Knigge. The Concert Band, directed by Dr. Travis Netzer, will perform works by Robert Jager, Henry Fillmore, Franz Biebl and Clifton Williams.

All tickets are general admission and will be available at the door. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for senior citizens and NSU faculty and staff. Northern students will be admitted free.

The concert will also be livestreamed on the NSU Music Department Facebook page.
