The College Tour, an Amazon Prime Video series created by Alex Boylan

NSU Now Casting Students to Appear in National Episode

ABERDEEN, S.D. — Northern State University will be featured in The College Tour, an Amazon Prime Video series that showcases universities through the authentic perspectives of their students. Filming is scheduled for the week of Aug. 31 through Sept. 4 on the NSU campus in Aberdeen.

The College Tour was created by Alex Boylan, a former winner of The Amazing Race, and is produced by some of Hollywood's most recognized producers. The series was inspired by Boylan's niece's journey to find the right college and gives prospective students a genuine, student-driven look at campus life across the country. The College Tour is available to stream for free on The College Tour app and website, which reaches more than 60,000 high school counselors nationwide.

Northern State University is now looking for up to 10 students to be featured in its episode. Students who participate will appear on a nationally streamed television series, serve as the face of Northern State University to prospective students across the country and gain a standout addition to their resume.

Students interested in being featured are encouraged to submit a casting form and a two-minute audition video sharing who they are, their major and why they love Northern State University. Topics can range from academics and athletics to campus life, affordability, hands-on learning and residence halls — any story that authentically reflects the Northern experience.

The deadline for student submissions is Saturday, July 19, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
