ABERDEEN, S.D. - Northern State University has named Dr. Kristi Bockorny as the next dean of the School of Business. Bockorny assumes this leadership position as Northern begins construction of its new Business and Health Innovation Center, which will greatly enhance opportunities for students in the School of Business.

"Kristi has been recruiting students to NSU for the School of Business, Honors and Athletics since she first started as a professor. The new facility being built on campus will house the School of Business, the Northern Innovation & Startup Center and the new nursing department. Kristi's ability to tell Northern's story and build relationships will be a great asset to further incorporate NSU and the community," said Zach Flakus, president and CEO of the NSU Foundation.

The School of Business has outstanding faculty and staff who work hard to ensure students receive the best education. I look forward to continuing the School of Business' long-standing tradition of graduating remarkable individuals and fostering relationships with community and regional business leaders."
