ABERDEEN, S.D. — The Northern State University Archives at Beulah Williams Library has opened a special exhibit today in celebration of Northern's 125th anniversary, offering a rare public look at materials not often seen outside the archive's reading room.

The exhibit spans decades of campus life, featuring historical photographs, clips from digitized film reels and physical artifacts that together bring the university's past to life. The curated collection weaves photographs, film and artifacts together, capturing glimpses of campus life across generations in one place.

The exhibit is free and open to the public and will remain on display through the academic year.

Robert Russell, director of the library, planned and designed the project, which was funded by Williams Library. Librarian and archivist Maren Williams combed the NSU archives and printed images for the display. Paul Moulsoff edited and formatted archived video featured in the exhibit. Library staff Nancy Miller and student assistant Bree Ann Friesen assisted in finalizing all components of the exhibit. The Beulah Williams Library is located on the Northern State University campus in Aberdeen.  Visitor parking is available in the Washington Street lots to the west of the library.
