ABERDEEN, S.D. – The Northern State University Chamber Singers will celebrate the 334thbirthday of Johann Sebastian Bach with the eighth annual “Bach’s Lunch” on Wednesday, March 20.

The concert will begin at noon at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1620 Milwaukee Ave. S.E.

Bach’s Lunch will feature the NSU Chamber Singers, under the direction of NSU Director of Choral Activities Dr. Timothy Woods.

After the program, the church will provide a light lunch for performers and audience members. Admission is a freewill donation to NSU music scholarships at the door. NSU students are admitted for free.

Several NSU music faculty and friends will also perform, including Dr. Kenneth Boulton, dean of the School of Fine Arts and piano; Dr. Allan Jacobson, professor emeritus and piano; JoAnne Barry, piano; Dr. Travis Netzer, directing the Hub City Brass ensemble; Stuart Davidson, organ, among several others.

NSU student brass players under the direction of Netzer include Trey Litwiller of Huron; Patrick Calvillo of Walhalla, N.D.; McKinley Hoselton of Richardton, N.D.; Morgan Mewes of Jamestown, N.D.; and Adam Henning of Watertown.
