ABERDEEN, S.D. — Northern State University is proud to announce that Becky Pribyl, director of financial aid, has earned the designation of Certified Financial Aid Administrator, known as the FAAC credential. The national certification recognizes Pribyl's expertise and commitment to the highest standards of federal student aid administration.
To earn the FAAC designation, Pribyl underwent a rigorous evaluation by the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators. The process included demonstrating significant industry experience, passing a comprehensive knowledge exam and affirming a commitment to the ethical standards that define the financial aid profession.
"Earning the FAAC designation is a remarkable achievement," said Elizabeth Jacquez-Amador, 2025-26 commission chair of the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators. "It reflects competence, commitment and the countless hours invested in serving students and families."
By achieving this certification, Pribyl joins an elite group of financial aid professionals across the country who possess the foundational knowledge required to effectively manage Title IV federal student aid programs.
