ABERDEEN, S.D. – The Northern State University Department of Music will present its annual Faculty Showcase Recital on Thursday, Sept. 12.

The recital will take place in the Johnson Fine Arts Center’s Harvey and Cynthia Jewett Theater, starting at 7:30 p.m. The event will feature a variety of solo and chamber performances by the talented NSU music faculty.

“This recital is always something the music faculty looks forward to,” said Dr. Kenneth Boulton, dean of the School of Fine Arts. “It also represents the official opening event of our exciting 2024-25 season.”

The event is free and open to the public, though donations will be accepted for the music scholarship fund.
