ABERDEEN, S.D. – Northern State University and the NSU Foundation are proud to announce the upcoming 2024 GiveNDay, an annual fundraising event dedicated to supporting Wolves students and strengthening community ties. The event will kick off at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3, and conclude at 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 4.
GiveNDay celebrates Northern State University's rich history of excellence and showcases the unwavering spirit of its community. The event provides an opportunity for alumni, faculty, staff, students, and friends of NSU to unite and positively impact the lives of Wolves students.
"We encourage everyone to join us in showing their 'Pride in the Pack' by supporting Wolves students with a gift during GiveNDay," said Zach Flakus, NSU Foundation president and CEO. "By demonstrating our Wolves pride, expressing gratitude, and contributing to NSU, we ensure that future students can experience the greatness of our university. Every donation, regardless of size, makes a meaningful difference in the lives of our students."
The goal is to engage 2,000 donors within the 36-hour giving period during GiveNDay. Contributions can support various initiatives, including scholarships, academic programs, athletics, and campus facilities, all of which help shape the future of Northern State University.
To celebrate the event, Northern State University invites both campus and community members to join us for a city-wide "Maroon Out" on April 3 and 4. Show your support for Wolves students by wearing maroon and/or Wolves gear on GiveNDay.
